For further processing, re packing or ready to consume   With “solids” is meant, processed fruits whereby, for the solid parts, shape and size matters. The solid parts can be clearly separated from its packing medium (if existent) by draining.   The “solids” sold by Tropfin are mostly packed in traditional tins. See underneath for more details. The tins are put in cartons, trays or loose loaded on pallets. Tins, trays or cartons on pallets can be shrink wrapped to create more stability during transport. Individual trays can be shrink wrapped as well. Alternative ways of packing tropical fruits are as deep frozen or pouch in carton.
